♰♰ Patient Rules by Color ♰♰
♰♰Level White- Medicated/Stable♰♰
These patients are almost completely normal. They are properly medicated and completely lucid. They are basically normal people, but they are kept here on their own accord, on their own will. They are not dangerous, and are allowed to be pretty much anywhere in the facility.
♰♰Level Green- Social Instability, but fine otherwise♰♰
These patients are edgy in social situations. They are here because they are trying to integrate into society in a healthy sort of way. Just like white patients, they are allowed to wander around the facility at their leisure. They aren't dangerous, as they like to stay by themselves.
♰♰Level Blue- Awaiting Treatment/Sometimes Unstable♰♰
These are the patients that are brand new to the facility. They are awaiting treatment, and waiting to be sorted into another group. They can be dangerous sometimes, but the violent ones are usually weeded out during their initial observation period. Because they are on and off of different medications, they can be slightly unstable, as some medications can make certain conditions worse. If they start being a problem, they are moved to solitary, or a different group more quickly than the rest of the Blues.
♰♰Level Pink- Addicts/Slightly Unstable♰♰
These are the addicts. The ones that are here for rehab. Be it from pills, street drugs, or alcoholism. Or any other sort of addictive vice. As they are entering withdrawals, they can become rather unstable and become a threat to others or themselves. Usually the withdrawal stage is finished before they leave observation.
♰♰Level Violet- Self-Inflicting/Suicidal♰♰
These patients are dangerous to themselves rather than to others, and are placed on a special watch. They are frisked and checked with metal detectors, just to make sure that they won't be able to hurt themselves while they aren't being watched.
♰♰Level Yellow- Moderately Unstable♰♰
Most of the time these patients are all well and good with their medications. They can interact with the other patients, but they are usually closely watched to try and keep incidents at a minimum. So long as they are stable, they remain in the same wings as the other patients, but if things change, there's a cell in North Block just waiting for them.
♰♰Level Orange- Unstable/Solitary♰♰
These patients reside in North Block, but on the bottom and behind another round of gates. They can be rather violent from time to time, either to themselves or to others. They are usually rather unpredictable, and they are always being observed either by cameras, or guards or orderlies. There are cameras in their block, as per usual in the entire North block. They are allowed out and amongst each other for a few hours of everyday. But most of the time they remain confined to their cells.
As for the solitary patients, most of them don't reside solely in solitary, but seem to wind up there quite often. Solitary is a rather awful place to be, and Shai likes to pretend it doesn't exist. He only permits solitary to be for a few hours. While Jake gives authority for patients to be in there for up to a week. Sometimes food is given, but it's dry rolls and bread. No water, or anything else to drink, unless they agree to take their meds. No shower privileges, no bathroom. No clean clothes. Shai doesn't know any of this, and Jake assures him that it is operated the way that he wants it to be.
♰♰Level Red- Violent/Criminal♰♰
"Red Block" is the section of the North Block that is operated like a triple max prison. Doors have to be opened from the station at the front of the block. They are always locked and can only be opened upon emergency or with authorization from either Jake or Shai. They are kept on a rather strict schedule, getting their meals set on the slot in their cell doors. It is recommended that people stay away from this ward. The only ones allowed are the guards that were specifically picked for this ward, a few nurses to make rounds with medchecks, and authorized doctors. The rules on this block are very very strict as you are dealing with unstable criminals. Murderers mostly. If ever in transport, patients are to be sedated and handcuffed with no less than 3 armed guards.
