Trevelyn, Rian Shai.     TWENTY-THREE MALE ANGEL HALFBREED HOMOSEXUAL SEPTEMBER 2ND HEAD DIRECTOR APPEARANCE Don't be AFRAID to be WEAK Shai has fluffy looking light brown/blondish hair, and bright emerald green eyes. He usually wears nice clothes, a suit if he has to, but usually just a button up shirt under a sweater vest thing and black or khaki pants. He wears a lab coat when he's working as a doctor, but otherwise tends to avoid them. He is always wearing long sleeves. He has glasses and a watch, like any respectable psychiatrist. He has scars on his wrists and arms. He also has the words "Scream for me" carved into his back just between his shoulder blades. But the only people that know that are the ones that have seen him naked. He has a British Accent <3. Full Picture: SHAI PERSONALITY Don't be too PROUD to be STRONG He's a very kind person most of the time. He loves kids and teens and working with them to make them feel better. No this doe not make him a pedo as he does not see them in "that way". He feels more like an older brother to them. He's nice company, though he tends to ramble on and on about the most meaningless of things sometimes. And never get him started about his job, because he'll never shut up about it. His humor is usually dry, but he can be very sarcastic. He's a really down to earth kind of person and really truly understands the kids he works with. Don't get him mad though. He's scary when he's mad. There are also certain days of the year where he will most likely call in sick from work or just not show up. He seems to simply disappear from the planet. These are the days when he's simply too depressed to come to work. These are the anniversaries of the deaths of his mother and his sister. HISTORY Just look into your HEART my FRIEND His life started out just as normal as anyone else's. A loving mother and father, who both adored each other and him. His parents ran a vineyard in France, but they lived in London, distributing and selling their wines amongst the people there. They were fairly well off and he got anything he wanted. A few weeks before he turned 6, his father went off to France to check up on their vineyard, as that seasons wine seemed rather flat tasting. He had called them every night to say that he loved them and to "tuck" Rian in. Rian adored his father, and looked up to him in every way. Then, disaster struck. Three days before his birthday they learned of his father's death. They buried him on September 2nd... When he was 10, his mother had found someone else, a Doctor by the name of Sven Carmichael. She seemed to love him, and he seemed to love her back. A year later, they married. He had always been a smart kid, but when Sven became a part of the family, he skipped grades with leaps and bounds, graduating high school at 15 and finishing his nearly 10 year college schedule, in half that. Sven pushed him to become a doctor, just like he was, much to Rian's dismay. When he was 12, His mother gave birth to twins, Lukas and Anna. Lukas was a strong and healthy baby, but Anna struggled. When he was 14 they discovered she had leukemia, and even through his studies, he always made it home to take care of her, to teach her things, to feed her, to bathe her. Sven was always very abusive to him, even after his children were born. One time he was thrown down the stairs and broke over 10 bones in his body, another time he was nearly drowned while taking a bath after school. He was beaten and bullied, cut up and bruised. And one day while Marie was out shopping with Lukas, Sven went into his room during his studies, and carved the words "Scream for me" into his back with a wire. His 16th year had to be one of the worst in his life. He was doing double the amount of college work any normal student would regularly have to do. And still looking after his sister. But she had gotten so sick, that she was almost always in the hospital. A few weeks after she turned 4, she died. It was a great loss to him, and he fell into a bit of a depression, but kept up his school work for the fear of getting beaten. His mother fell into an even greater depression, and he began having to keep her up, keep her well enough to get out of the house every now and then. One night he was sleeping, and had this terrible nightmare. He woke up to the sound of water dripping. He figured it was his mom taking her evening bath, then realized it was nearing 4 in the morning. There was no way she would be up at that time. He slowly got out of bed and went down the hallway, a lump growing in his throat and his chest. The bathroom door was cracked open, and the floor was all wet. As he opened the door he felt that lump vanish. His heart, his mind, everything crumbled. His mother lie in the tub, naked, with her wrists slashed, and the words "I'm Sorry" written on the wall behind her. His depression worsened, but he was convinced that it wasn't suicide and that Sven had murdered her. She had left everything to Rian, and he was convinced that he was going to die next. But he stayed with Sven, taking care of Lukas almost full time, while trying to finish up his studies. That was the year he began cutting. A few months later, he was barely 17, he made his way to Tower Bridge in London. He stood on it for a little while, pondering life, wondering if it was even worth living anymore. He jumped. Luckily some nearby people jumped in after him, and saved him from drowning, after all, he wasn't the greatest swimmer anyways. He woke up in an institution. Sven was paying for it apparently. He was still allowed to study medical sciences, and he took up Psychology as a pastime. He got over his depression, and he moved out on his own right after his release on his 19th birthday. He continued going to school, taking up psychology as a Major along with Medical Sciences. He got his PhD in both just before he turned 22. Now he runs his own institution, having enough experience to make it run smooth and sound without much trouble, but having enough experience to make the patients feel like he was one of them. He could understand them, where they were coming from, how they were feeling. And that, is what makes him a good Director.
