♰♰ Session Rules ♰♰
♰♰ Therapy threads are a bit different from the normal roleplaying style, to make it quicker and easier for both parties. Please make sure to stay within the guidelines, and if you're confused or need help with anything, let admin;; know. ♰♰
♰♰ Shai will have a list of questions posted before the session begins. These are the questions that he asks throughout the session.
♰♰ All sessions are kept on a 1 hour schedule. Sometimes they are longer, sometimes they are shorter, but when the time is up, he will wrap up the session with some sort of small closing speech. The thread will then be locked.
♰♰ A new thread will be made by Shai as often as sessions come up. You will be tagged in it, so please make sure to respond.
♰♰ If you do not respond to the session thread within a week of it's posting (real time), Shai will mark you down as an absent session for that week, which docks overall points. The only way to avoid this is to respond to the session, or by letting admin;; know that you won't be around to post.
♰♰ Every single patient must have a session with Shai. There is no exception. If you have a patient, you must be in a first session post with Shai. admin;; will make a first session thread within a week of your patient character getting accepted.
♰♰ Staff member characters will also have a session upon hire, but this will be with Jake, instead of Shai. It will follow the same guidelines as the patient sessions, the only difference being that it is done once, unless your character feels the need to meet with the boss.
♰♰ Group sessions will also be held. The groups will be tagged and each patient must respond to that thread. Shai will have different colors for each of the patients tagged. You will be given your color so that it is easier to tell when it is your turn, and which questions you will be responding to.
♰♰ Group sessions can be a bit unpredictable, and Shai is very aware of this. If you wish to cause a disruption, please inform admin;; before you enter the thread. Red patients do not cooperate in group sessions, as they are violent.
♰♰ Again, these threads are rather short, the exception being group posts. Everything should be covered within 10 posts.
♰♰ Shai will go to the cells of the Red patients, in North Block. Unless they are dreadfully sick, or Shai is absent, the sessions will happen.
♰♰ Please choose to respond to the sessions as your character truly would. For example: Alex has a hard time knowing what is real and what is not, therefor his answers would reflect this. If Shai asks him what he's been doing that day, he could respond clearly, "Sitting around my cell drawing or reading" or he could respond in fantasy "My agent took me out to lunch and we met a new client. I hated him. He was too grabby and looked like a tree." Both of these responses are acceptable for a patient that has hallucinations.
