Mizaki, Jakaru Hizumi.    TWENTY-EIGHT MALE HUMAN HOMOSEXUAL APRIL 28TH PSYCHIATRIST/MD APPEARANCE Don't be AFRAID to be WEAK Jake prides himself at being well dressed all the time. He wears the neatest, cleanest suits of various colors, black and grey seem to be the most popular. However, he is usually in a lab coat. But when he's dressing casually, he's usually in a black, long-sleeved shirt, dark colored jeans, or black or khaki slacks. He always has on a rather expensive looking watch, a ring on his forefinger on his left hand. He has a single earring on his right ear. He almost always has glasses on, though it is speculated that he has multiple pairs so that they always match whatever it is that he's wearing. Jake's hair is a really dark rich mocha kind of color, almost black, like fresh brewed coffee. His eyes are brown, but they have a red tint to them. Full Image: JAKARU PERSONALITY Don't be too PROUD to be STRONG Jake is a very quiet person. He's not shy or anything, just observant. He likes watching how people work. He is very serious and seems to have little to no sense of humor. He takes his job very seriously, despite the patients that he's usually given. Despite his quiet, reserved behavior, Jake is actually quite personable. He can be charming when he wants to be. He is extrodinarily intelligent. Everything around him is always neat, organized, and clean. He can be rather arrogant from time to time, but he doesn't seem to flaunt his status. He only ever wants to help, but is known to put his foot down, making tough decisions for the betterment of his patients. They always come first. HISTORY Just look into your HEART my FRIEND Jake's past was rather uninteresting. His mother was Japanese, his father was European. The two eloped at a young age, with quite a substantial amount of money, as both of them came from rather prominent families. As his grandparents passed away, his parents received even more through estates, trust funds, and everything else an heir could possibly receive. Because of all of this, he was raised much like a normal rich kid. Prestigious private schools, huge houses, bad relationship with his parents because he was practically raised by his nannies and butlers. As he grew older, he went to some of the best colleges in the world, decided to take a career in medicine. There was a reason for this of course. When he was in his early 20's, he had just finished his starting courses in college, debating where to go from here in life. He was just walking home one night, across Tower Bridge to catch a trolley. But he saw him. He didn't know the significance of that moment. Or that person. Shai. He saw a boy, not too much younger than himself, standing there on the edge of the bridge. He didn't think much of it at first, but something drew his attention. A soft sort of glow through the rain. As the kid jumped, he swore he saw what looked like... wings. Made of light? That didn't make any sense. But, he snapped out of it. Dropping his bookbag, his umbrella, everything, and jumped in after him, as did a few others. They helped the boy ashore, sputtering and choking. At first, he thought the boy wasn't going to make it, he wasn't sure why this was even important to him, and he knew he would hear about it on the television, and from his parents after that. "He's not breathing." Those words struck him hard, but luckily one of the people that had helped out was studying to be a paramedic. The boy was successfully revived. He soon forgot about the incident, deciding to study medicine. Wanting to be helpful to those in need. Like that boy had been. A few years later, he found himself struggling through medical school. It was exhausting and stressful. But then. He saw him again. That boy from the river. He was in his class, alive, and mostly well. Soon, they became friends. Studying together, having an occasional drink. When Shai went into Psychology, he figured he would join him. Together the two of them came up with the idea of opening their own facility to help troubled teens. Jake agreed to pay for everything, and together, their dream came true.
